South End Earth Day (SEED) is an annual event to beautify our neighborhoods. Every year, over 200 Local residents and volunteers come together to help dig, plant trees and flowers in community gardens, clean up vacant lots, streets and sidewalks, and enjoy a wonderful meal and fun during the event.
Working to enrich, educate, and empower our community.
For the past few years, we have created and beautified Youth Organics Garden on 3rd Avenue, the Giffen Memorial Elementary School yard, Our Children’s Garden and the Permaculture Gardens on Catherine Street, Rainbow Playground on Clinton Street, and Lizzie Place on Broad Street.
